Jennifer Fountain has been a Partner with the firm since 2002. Jennifer's practice focuses on civil litigation and commercial real estate. She has vast experience in both counseling with clients to avoid litigation and zealously representing her clients in court.  Jennifer's commercial litigation practice includes contract, employment, real estate and construction disputes. Jennifer has appeared in state and federal courts as well as the North Carolina Court of Appeals and the North Carolina Supreme Court on behalf of her clients.  Also, as a significant portion of Jennifer's litigation work relates to real estate issues, Jennifer has negotiated leases, represented clients related to land use issues and handled commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions and financing transactions.  In addition, Jennifer has represented companies, both large and small, in acquisitions and mergers.  Jennifer's litigation experience brings valuable insight to her clients in transactional matters.  

Jennifer is active in the community.  She has served on the Board of the Carolina Theatre and is past Chair of the Board of Directors for Reading Connections, as well as past Chair of the Board of Directors for Greensboro Transit Authority and is a graduate of Leadership Greensboro.  Jennifer is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of West Market Street United Methodist Church.  She also works with the local chapter of Rock and Wrap It Up, known as School Wrap.  School Wrap collects leftovers from school cafeterias for distribution to local nonprofits who feed hot meals to the needy.  She is also excited to work with the Guilford Education Alliance and the Say Yes Initiative.
